Refined uniqueness results for 2D Euler and gSQG with rough Kraichnan noise

We prove strong well-posedness results for the stochastic 2D Euler equations in vorticity form and generalized SQG equations, with $L^p$ initial data and driven by a spatially rough, incompressible transport noise of Kraichnan type. Previous works addressed this problem with noise of spatial regularity $α\in (0,1/2)$, in a setting where a rougher noise yields a stronger regularization. We remove this limitation by allowing any $α\in (0,1)$, covering the same range of parameters for which anomalous regularization effects are known to occur in passive scalars. In particular, this covers the physically relevant case $α=2/3$, associated with the Richardson-Kolmogorov scaling of energy cascade.

Stability estimates for singular SDEs and applications

We consider multidimensional SDEs with singular drift $b$ and Sobolev diffusion coefficients $σ$, satisfying Krylov--Röckner type assumptions. We prove several stability estimates, comparing solutions driven by different $(b^i,σ^i)$, both for Itô and Stratonovich SDEs, possibly depending on negative Sobolev norms of the difference $b^1-b^2$. We then discuss several applications of these results to McKean--Vlasov SDEs, criteria for strong compactness of solutions and Wong--Zakai type theorems.

Distribution dependent SDEs driven by additive continuous noise

We study distribution dependent stochastic differential equation driven by a continuous process, without any specification on its law, following the approach initiated in [16]. We provide several criteria for existence and uniqueness of solutions which go beyond the classical globally Lipschitz setting. In particular we show well-posedness of the equation, as well as almost sure convergence of the associated particle system, for drifts satisfying either Osgood-continuity, monotonicity, local Lipschitz or Sobolev differentiability type assumptions.

Regularization of multiplicative SDEs through additive noise

We investigate the regularizing effect of certain additive continuous perturbations on SDEs with multiplicative fractional Brownian motion (fBm). Traditionally, a Lipschitz requirement on the drift and diffusion coefficients is imposed to ensure existence and uniqueness of the SDE. We show that suitable perturbations restore existence, uniqueness and regularity of the flow for the resulting equation, even when both the drift and the diffusion coefficients are distributional, thus extending the program of regularization by noise to the case of multiplicative SDEs. Our method relies on a combination of the non-linear Young formalism developed by Catellier and Gubinelli, and stochastic averaging estimates recently obtained by Hairer and Li.
