Effect of density dependent symmetry energy on Elliptical flow

The effect of the density dependent symmetry energy on elliptical flow is studied using isospin-dependent quantum molecular dynamics model(IQMD). We have used the reduced isospin-dependent cross-section with soft equation of state to study the sensitivity of elliptical flow towards symmetry energy. Aim of the present study is to pin down the Elliptical flow for the various forms of the density dependent symmetry energy.

Effect of the density dependent symmetry energy on fragmentation

The effect of the density dependence of symmetry energy on fragmentation is studied using isospin-dependent quantum molecular dynamics model(IQMD) Model. We have used the reduced isospin-dependent cross-section with soft equation of state to explain the experimental findings for the system 79_Au^197 + 79_Au^197 for the full colliding geometry. In addition to that we have tried to study the collective response of the momentum dependent interactions(MDI) and symmetry energy towards the multifragmentation

Influence of density dependence of symmetry energy on fragmentation

The fragmentation of projectile and spectator is studied at the different incident energies using isospin dependent QMD model with reduced isospin dependent cross-section. Different systems have been used for the analysis of fragment production(IMF). We have used enhanced constant isospin dependent cross-section to explain the experimental findings which is valid for soft equation of state. In addition to that we have tried to study the influence of density dependent symmetry energy on fragment production.

Influence of density dependent symmetry energy on Elliptical flow

The effect of density dependent symmetry energy on elliptical flow is studied using isospin-dependent quantum molecular dynamics model(IQMD). We have used the reduced isospin- dependent cross-section with hard(H) equation of state to study the sensitivity of elliptical flow towards symmetry energy in the energy range of 50 - 1000 MeV/nucleon. The elliptical flow becomes zero at a particular energy termed as transition energy. A systematic effort has been made to pin down the transition energy for the density dependent symmetry energy.

Role of density dependent symmetry energy in nuclear stopping

Information about the nuclear matter under the extreme conditions of temperature and density and the role of symmetry energy under these conditions is still a topic of crucial importance in the present day nuclear physics research. The multifragmentation, collective flow and the nuclear stopping is among the various rare phenomenon which can be observed in heavy-ion collisions at intermediate energies. The nuclear stopping, which is sensitive towards the symmetry energy has gained a lot of interest because it provides the possibility to examine the degree of thermalization or equilibration in the matter. Aim of the present study is to pin down the nuclear stopping for the different forms of density dependent symmetry energy

Role of the density-dependent symmetry energy in multi-fragmentation

The fragmentation of projectile and spectator matter is studied at different incident energies using an isospin-dependent QMD model with reduced isospin dependent cross-section. The sensitivity of the production of fragments is analyzed using different parametrizations of density dependence of symmetry energy. We shall also highlight the collective response of the momentum dependent interactions(MDI) and symmetry energy towards the fragmentation of colliding nuclei at intermediate energies.

Sensitivity of nuclear stopping towards density dependent symmetry energy

The effect of density dependent symmetry energy on nuclear-stopping is studied using isospin-dependent quantum molecular dynamics model(IQMD). We have used the reduced isospin-dependent cross-section with soft(S) equation of state for the systems having different isostopic content, to explore the various aspects of nuclear stopping. The aim is to pin down the nature of the nuclear stopping with density dependent symmetry energy. Nuclear stopping is found to be sensitive towards the various forms of the density dependent symmetry energy. The nuclear stopping tends to decrease for the stiffer equation of state (EOS), i.e. larger values of gamma.

The study of multifragmentation around transition energy in intermediate energy heavy-ion collisions

Fragmentation of light charged particles is studied for various systems at different incident energies between 50 and 1000 MeV/nucleon. We analyze fragment production at incident energies above, below and at transition energies using the isospin dependent quantum molecular dynamics(IQMD) model. The trends observed for the fragment production and rapidity distributions depend upon the incident energy, size of the fragments, composite mass of the reacting system as well as on the impact parameter of the reaction. The free nucleons and light charged particles show continous homogeneous changes irrespective of the transition energies indicating that there is no relation between the transition energy and production of the free as well as light charged particles.
