One loop effective nonlinear Lagrangian with a light H-boson

We study one loop structure of the scalar sector of non-linear electroweak chiral Lagrangian (EWChL) with a light (composite) H-boson up to four derivatives. First, we introduce relevant Lagrangian terms in general parametrization of would-be Goldstone modes, taking into account potential and finite mass of the scalar. Then we compute 1-, 2-, 3- and 4-point functions and perform complete off-shell renormalization of the processes considered. On the way we found new divergencies involving also the H-boson which cannot be absorbed by the parameters of chiral invariant Lagrangian. We have demonstrated explicitly how these divergencies can be removed by field redefinition, and therefore proved that they are non-physical and give no contribution to the on-shell amplitudes. As a physical result renormalization group equations are derived to be used for future H-boson data analyses.

On the renormalization of the electroweak chiral Lagrangian with a Higgs

We consider the scalar sector of the effective non-linear electroweak Lagrangian with a light "Higgs" particle, up to four derivatives in the chiral expansion. The complete off-shell renormalization procedure is implemented, including one loop corrections stemming from the leading two-derivative terms, for finite Higgs mass. This determines the complete set of independent chiral invariant scalar counterterms required for consistency; these include bosonic operators often disregarded. Furthermore, new counterterms involving the Higgs particle which are apparently chiral non-invariant are identified in the perturbative analysis. A novel general parametrization of the pseudoescalar field redefinitions is proposed, which reduces to the various usual ones for specific values of its parameter; the non-local field redefinitions reabsorbing all chiral non-invariant counterterms are then explicitly determined. The physical results translate into renormalization group equations which may be useful when comparing future Higgs data at different energies.

Axial form factors for quasi elastic ν-N interactions in the vector/pseudovector dominance model

Phenomenological multigauge model of neutrino-nucleon interaction based on chiral symmetry of strong interactions and vector/pseudovector meson dominance model is suggested. It was shown that within the framework of the model the constant of neutron beta decay is formed by meson masses and parameters of the hadronization of fundamental vector bosons. Then, quasi elastic (anti)neutrino-nucleon scattering processes have been investigated and it was found that weak nucleon form factor $G_A(Q^2)$ considered as multipole expansion multiplied on pQCD asymptotes is in a good agreement with experimental data.
