Estimates of pp-harmonic functions in planar sectors

Suppose that p∈(1,∞]p \in (1,\infty], ν∈[1/2,∞)ν\in [1/2,\infty), Sν={(x1,x2)∈R2∖{(0,0)}:∣ϕ∣<π2ν}\mathcal{S}_ν= \left\{ (x_1,x_2) \in \mathbb{R}^2 \setminus \{(0, 0)\}: |ϕ| < \fracπ{2ν}\right\}, where ϕϕ is the polar angle of (x1,x2)(x_1,x_2). Let R>0R>0 and ωp(x)ω_p(x) be the pp-harmonic measure of ∂B(0,R)∩Sν\partial B(0,R) \cap \mathcal{S}_ν at xx with respect to B(0,R)∩SνB(0, R)\cap \mathcal{S}_ν. We prove that there exists a constant CC such that \begin{align*} C^{-1}\left(\frac{|x|}{R}\right)^{k(ν,p)} \, \leq ω_p(x) \, \leq C \left(\frac{|x|}{R}\right)^{k(ν,p)} \end{align*} whenever x∈B(0,R)∩S2νx\in B(0,R) \cap \mathcal{S}_{2ν} and where the exponent k(ν,p)k(ν,p) is given explicitly as a function of νν and pp. Using this estimate we derive local growth estimates for pp-sub- and pp-superharmonic functions in planar domains which are locally approximable by sectors, e.g., we conclude bounds of the rate of convergence near the boundary where the domain has an inwardly or outwardly pointed cusp. Using the estimates of pp-harmonic measure we also derive a sharp Phragmen-Lindelöf theorem for pp-subharmonic functions in the unbounded sector Sν\mathcal{S}_ν. Moreover, if p=∞p = \infty then the above mentioned estimates extend from the setting of two-dimensional sectors to cones in Rn\mathbb{R}^n. Finally, when ν∈(1/2,∞)ν\in (1/2, \infty) and p∈(1,∞)p\in (1,\infty) we prove uniqueness (modulo normalization) of positive pp-harmonic functions in Sν\mathcal{S}_ν vanishing on ∂Sν\partial\mathcal{S}_ν.
