Initial Value Problem for a Caputo Space-time Fractional Schrodinger Equation for the Delta Potential

In this paper, we investigate the initial value problem for a Caputo space-time fractional Schrodinger equation for the delta potential. To solve this equation, we use the joint Laplace transform on the spatial coordinate and the Fourier transform on the time coordinate. Finally, the wave function and the time dependent energy eigenvalues are obtained for a particle which is subjected to the delta potential.

Superintegrability on the Dunkl oscillator model in three-Dimensional spaces of constant curvature

This paper has studied the three-dimensional Dunkl oscillator models in a generalization of superintegrable Euclidean Hamiltonian systems to curved ones. These models are defined based on curved Hamiltonians, which depend on a deformation parameter of underlying space and involve reflection operators. Their symmetries are obtained by the Jordan-Schwinger representations in the family of the Cayley-Klein orthogonal algebras using the creation and annihilation operators of the dynamical $sl_{-1}(2)$ algebra of the one-dimensional Dunkl oscillator. The resulting algebra is a deformation of $so_{κ_1κ_2}(4)$ with reflections, which is known as the Jordan-Schwinger-Dunkl algebra $jsd_{κ_1κ_2}(4)$. Hence, this model is shown to be maximally superintegrable. On the other hand, the superintegrability of the three-dimensional Dunkl oscillator model is studied from the factorization approach viewpoint. The spectrum of this system is derived through the separation of variables in geodesic polar coordinates, and the resulting eigenfunctions are algebraically given in terms of Jacobi polynomials.

Statistical Analysis of I Stokes Parameter of Millisecond Pulsars

Using Detrended Fluctuation Analysis (DFA) and box counting method, we test spacial correlation and fractality of Polarization Pulse Profiles (PPPs) of 24 millisecond pulsars (MSPs) which were observed in Parkes Pulsar Timing Array (PPTA) project. DFA analysis indicates that MSPs' PPPs are persistent and the results of box counting method confirm the fractality in the majority of PPPs. A Kolmogorov-Smirnov test indicates that isolated MSPs have more complex PPPs than binary ones. Then we apply our analysis on a random sample of normal pulsars. Comparing the results of our analysis on MSPs and normal pulsars shows that MSPs have more complex PPPs which is resulted from smaller angular half-width of the emission cone and more peaks in MSPs PPPs. On the other hand, high values of Hurst exponent in MSPs confirm compact emission regions in these pulsars.

Unified treatment of a class of spherically symmetric potentials: quasi-exact solution

In this paper, we investigate the Schrödinger equation for a class of spherically symmetric potentials in a simple and unified manner using the Lie algebraic approach within the framework of quasi-exact solvability. We illustrate that all models give rise to the same basic differential equation, which is expressible as an element of the universal enveloping algebra of sl(2). Then, we obtain the general exact solutions of the problem by employing the representation theory of sl(2) Lie algebra.
