2D-Zernike polynomials and coherent state quantization of the unit disc

Using the orthonormality of the 2D-Zernike polynomials, reproducing kernels, reproducing kernel Hilbert spaces, and ensuring coherent states attained. With the aid of the so-obtained coherent states, the complex unit disc is quantized. Associated upper symbols, lower symbols and related generalized Berezin transforms also obtained. A number of necessary summation formulas for the 2D-Zernike polynomials proved.

On the dimensions of the oscillator algebras induced by orthogonal polynomials

There is a generalized oscillator algebra associated with every class of orthogonal polynomials {Ψn(x)}n=0∞\{Ψ_n(x)\}_{n=0}^{\infty}, on the real line, satisfying a three term recurrence relation xΨn(x)=bnΨn+1(x)+bn−1Ψn−1(x),Ψ0(x)=1,b−1=0xΨ_n(x)=b_nΨ_{n+1}(x)+b_{n-1}Ψ_{n-1}(x), Ψ_0(x)=1, b_{-1}=0. This note presents necessary and safficient conditions on bnb_n for such algebras to be of finite dimension. As examples, we discuss the dimensions of oscillator algebras associated with Hermite, Legendre and Gegenbauer polynomials. In addition we shall also discuss the dimensions of some generalized deformed oscillator algebras. Some remarks on the dimensions of oscillator algebras associated with multi-boson systems are also presented.

Asymptotics of eigenvalues of the operator describing Aharonov-Bohm effect combined with homogeneous magneticfield coupled with a strong δδ-interaction on a loop

We investigate the two-dimensional magnetic operator Hc0,B,β=(−i∇−A)2−βδ(.−Γ),H_{c_0,B,β} = {(-i\nabla -A)}^{2}-βδ(.-Γ), where ΓΓ is a smooth loop. The vector potential has the form A=c0(−yx2+y2;xx2+y2)+B2(−y;x)A=c_0\bigg(\frac{-y}{x^2+y^2}; \frac{x}{x^2+y^2} \bigg)+ \frac{B}{2}\bigg(-y; x\bigg) ; B>0,B>0, c0∈]0;1[c_0\in]0;1[. The asymptotics of negative eigenvalues of Hc0,B,βH_{c_0,B,β} for β⟶+∞β\longrightarrow +\infty is found. We also prove that for large enough positive value of ββ the system exhibits persistent currents.
