A Spinorial Perelman's Functional: Critical Points and Gradient Flow

In this article, we introduce an energy functional on closed Riemannian spin manifolds which unifies Perelman's W- and F-functionals, Baldauf-Ouzch's E-functional, and Dirchlet energy for spinors. We compute its first variation formula, and show that its critical points under natural constraints are twisted Ricci solitons and eigen-spinsors of the weighted Dirac operator. We introduce a negative L^2-gradient flow of this functional, and establish its short-time existence and uniqueness via contraction mapping methods.

Higher-Order Estimates of Long-Time Solutions to the Kähler-Ricci Flow

In this article, we study the higher-order regularity of the Kähler-Ricci flow on compact Kähler manifolds with semi-ample canonical line bundle. We proved, using a parabolic analogue of Hein-Tosatti's work on collapsing Calabi-Yau metrics, that when the generic fibers of the Iitaka fibration are biholomorphic to each other, the flow converges locally smoothly away from singular fibers to a negative Kähler-Einstein metric on the base manifold. In particular, we proved that the Ricci curvature of the flow is uniformly bounded on any compact subsets away from singular fibers when the generic fibers are biholomorphic to each other.

Uniqueness Theorems of Self-Conformal Solutions to Inverse Curvature Flows

It has been known in that round spheres are the only closed homothetic self-similar solutions to the inverse mean curvature flow and parabolic curvature flows by degree -1 homogeneous functions of principle curvatures in the Euclidean space. In this article, we prove that the round sphere is rigid in much stronger sense, that under some natural conditions such as star-shapedness, it is the only closed solution to the inverse mean curavture flow and the above-mentioned flows in the Euclidean space which evolves by diffeomorphisms generated by conformal Killing fields.

Boltzmann's Entropy and Kähler-Ricci Solitons

We study a Boltzmann's type entropy functional (which appeared in existing literature) defined on Kähler metrics of a fixed Kähler class. The critical points of this functional are gradient Kähler-Ricci solitons, and the functional was known to be monotonically increasing along the Kähler-Ricci flow in the canonical class. In this article, we derive and analyze the second variation formula for this entropy functional, and show that all gradient Kähler-Ricci solitons are stable with respect to this entropy functional. Furthermore, using this result, we give a new proof that gradient shrinking Kähler-Ricci solitons are stable with respect to the Perelman's entropy in a fixed Kähler class.

The Collapsing Rate of the Kähler-Ricci Flow with Regular Infinite Time Singularity

We study the collapsing behavior of the Kaehler-Ricci flow on a compact Kaehler manifold X admitting a holomorphic submersion X -> S coming from its canonical class, where S is a Kaehler manifold with dim S < dim X. We show that the flow metric degenerates at exactly the rate of e^{-t} as predicted by the cohomology information, and so the fibers collapse at the optimal rate diameter ~ e^{-t/2}. Consequently, it leads to some analytic and geometric extensions to the regular case of Song-Tian's works on elliptic and Calabi-Yau fibrations. Its applicability to general Calabi-Yau fibrations with possibly singular fibers will also be discussed in local sense.

Kähler-Ricci Flow on Projective Bundles over Kähler-Einstein Manifolds

We study the Kähler-Ricci flow on a class of projective bundles $\mathbb{P}(\mathcal{O}_Σ\oplus L)$ over compact Kähler-Einstein manifold $Σ^n$. Assuming the initial Kähler metric $ω_0$ admits a U(1)-invariant momentum profile, we give a criterion, characterized by the triple $(Σ, L, [ω_0])$, under which the $\mathbb{P}^1$-fiber collapses along the Kähler-Ricci flow and the projective bundle converges to $Σ$ in Gromov-Hausdorff sense. Furthermore, the Kähler-Ricci flow must have Type I singularity and is of $(\C^n \times \mathbb{P}^1)$-type. This generalizes and extends part of Song-Weinkove's work \cite{SgWk09} on Hirzebruch surfaces.
