Rotating black holes and exotic compact objects in the Kerr/CFT correspondence within Rastall gravity

Quantum gravitational effects on the near horizon may alter the black hole's horizon drastically to be partially reflective, portrayed by a quantum membrane. With this modification, the object can be considered as an exotic compact object (ECO). Quantum effects on the strong gravitational regime may also lead to a non-conserved matter tensor that can be described phenomenologically using Rastall gravity. In this work, we study the properties of black holes and ECOs within Rastall gravity using Kerr/CFT correspondence. We systematically investigate the properties of the most general rotating black hole solutions in Rastall gravity, i.e., Kerr-Newman-NUT-Kiselev, and reveal its hidden conformal symmetry. The Cardy microscopic entropy formula and absorption cross-sections from 2D CFT are computed and then matched with gravity calculation. We also extend the dual CFT analysis for studying the properties of ECOs. The existence of the quantum membrane leads to the appearance of the gravitational echoes that is manifested as an oscillatory feature on the absorption cross-section. We compute the absorption cross-section and quasi-normal modes in the dual CFT picture. We also compare the absorption cross-section of ECOs to that of black holes. We find that the Rastall coupling constant plays a significant role for both objects. We also obtain that the echo time delay depends explicitly on the Rastall coupling constant. This coupling constant may play a role to recover the correction on time delay that is believed as a non-linear physics effect. Henceforth, the signature of the Rastall gravity can be probed from the time-delay observation.

CFT Duals on Rotating Charged Black Holes Surrounded by Quintessence

We demonstrate that Kerr/CFT duality can be extended to rotating charged black hole solution surrounded by quintessence in Rastall gravity. Since Rastall gravity can be considered as $F(R,T) = R + βT $ theory with the addition of a matter term, so the gravitational Lagrangian is resemblant to Einstein general relativity. In fact, the resulting central term is coincident to the central term in the general relativity since $ T $ is only a trace of the matter term. We then exhibit that the entropy from CFT of this black hole is equivalent with the Bekenstein-Hawking entropy with no correction related to the Rastall coupling constant. Moreover, when Rastall coupling constant $ κλ$ is switched off and $ a $ is approaching zero, we may extend the solution to the 5D black hole solution. It is found that this extremal solution contains twofold CFT duals that we call as $Q$-picture and $ P $-picture. In both pictures, the CFT entropy reproduces exactly the Bekenstein-Hawking entropy for Reissner-Nordström black hole surrounded by quintessence. The results establish that, for all black holes surrounded by quintessence, the microscopic entropies of the dual CFTs agree with the Bekenstein-Hawking entropies.

Long-range correlation of CMB temperature fluctuations from the holographic entanglement entropy

In this paper, we define the holographic multipartite entanglement entropy for $N$ separated subsystems living in a compact $\text{CFT}_d$ space-time. In a large $N$ limit, we find that the first-order holographic entanglement entropy perturbation is proportional to the change in the length of the subsystem and it has symmetric (Gaussian) distribution property. From that finding, we propose to construct two-point correlation functions of holographic entanglement entropy fluctuations analogous to the one that is used in the cosmic microwave background (CMB) temperature fluctuations analysis. Using the first law of thermodynamics, we may correlate tiny changes in entanglement entropy with the temperature fluctuations. By comparing with Planck 2018 CMB data from $j=2$ to $j=2499$ where $j$ denotes the multipole moment, we extract the distribution of the entangling region size that corresponds to the temperature fluctuations. Since the distribution of the entangling region size can be interpreted as the CMB temperature fluctuations, we conclude that entanglement might play a role in the quantum aspects of cosmology.

Dynamics of Hydrogen Bonds Coupling on the Specific DNA-Protein Interactions

We propose a dynamical model depicting the interactions between DNA and a specific binding protein involving long range transmissions. The dynamics rely on the coupling between Hydrogen bonds formed between DNA and protein and between the base pairs because they account for site specificity of the binding. We adopt the Morse potential with coupling terms to construct the Hamiltonian. This model gives rise to a breather excitation, corresponding to the DNA bubble formation, which propagates as the carrier of genetic information. We examine the various kind of possible coupling dynamics and suggest the model feasibility in depicting the renaturation or hybridization processes.

Statistical discrete geometry

Following our earlier work, we construct statistical discrete geometry by applying statistical mechanics to discrete (Regge) gravity. We propose a coarse-graining method for discrete geometry under the assumptions of atomism and background independence. To maintain these assumptions, restrictions are given to the theory by introducing cut-offs, both in ultraviolet and infrared regime. Having a well-defined statistical picture of discrete Regge geometry, we take the infinite degrees of freedom (large n) limit. We argue that the correct limit consistent with the restrictions and the background independence concept is not the continuum limit of statistical mechanics, but the thermodynamical limit.

Deformation of Dyonic Black Holes and Vacuum Geometries in Four Dimensional N=1 Supergravity

We study some aspects of spherical symmetric dyonic non-supersymmetric black holes in $4d \; N=1$ supergravity coupled to chiral and vector multiplets on Kähler-Ricci solitons. Then, we have a family of dyonic non-supersymmetric black holes deformed with respect to the flow parameter related to the Kähler-Ricci soliton, which possibly controls the nature of black holes, such as their asymptotic and near horizon geometries. Two types of black holes are discussed, namely a family of dyonic Reissner-Nordström-like black holes and Bertotti-Robinson-like black holes where the scalars are freezing all over spacetime and at the horizon, respectively. In addition, the corresponding vacuum structures for such black holes are also studied in the context of Morse-(Bott) theory. Finally, we give some simple $\;{\lC \mathrm{P}}^n$-models whose superpotential and gauge couplings have a linear form.
