Simple Woods-Saxon type form for $Ωα$ and $Ξα$ interactions using Folding Model

We derive a simple Woods-Saxon type form for the potentials between $Y=Ξ, Ω$ and $α$ by using a single-folding potential method, based on a separable $Y$-nucleon potential. Accordingly, the potentials $Ξ+α$ and $Ω+α$ are obtained using the ESC08c Nijmegens $ΞN$ potential (in $^{3}S_{1}$ channel) and HAL QCD Collaboration $ΩN$ interactions (in lattice QCD), respectively. In deriving the potential between $Y$ and $α$, the same potential between $Y$ and $N$ is used. Binding energy, scattering length and effective range of $Y$ particle on the alpha particle are approximated by the resultant potentials. The depths of the potentials in $Ωα$ and $Ξα$ systems are obtained $-61$ and $-24.4$ MeV, respectively. In the case of $Ξα$ potential, a fairly good agreement is observed between the single-folding potential method and the phenomenological potential of Dover-Gal model. These potentials can be used in 3-,4- and 5-body cluster structures of $ Ω$ and $Ξ$ hypernuclei.

Probing Multi-Strange Dibaryon with Proton-Omega Correlation in High-energy Heavy Ion Collisions

Two-particle intensity correlation between the proton ($p$) and the Omega-baryon ($Ω$) in high-energy heavy ion collisions is studied to unravel the possible spin-2 $pΩ$ dibaryon recently suggested by lattice QCD simulations. The ratio of correlation functions between small and large collision systems, $C_{\rm SL}(Q)$, is proposed to be a new measure to extract the strong $pΩ$ interaction without much contamination from the Coulomb attraction. Relevance of this quantity to the experimental observables in heavy-ion collisions is also discussed.

Spin-2 $NΩ$ Dibaryon from Lattice QCD

We investigate properties of the $N$(nucleon)-$Ω$(Omega) interaction in lattice QCD to seek for possible dibaryon states in the strangeness $-3$ channel. We calculate the $NΩ$ potential through the equal-time Nambu-Bethe-Salpeter wave function in 2+1 flavor lattice QCD with the renormalization group improved Iwasaki gauge action and the nonperturbatively $\mathcal{O}(a)$ improved Wilson quark action at the lattice spacing $a\simeq 0.12$ fm on a (1.9 fm)$^{3}\times$ 3.8 fm lattice. The $ud$ and $s$ quark masses in our study correspond to $m_π= 875(1)$ MeV and $m_{K}= 916(1)$ MeV. At these parameter values, the central potential in the S-wave with the spin 2 shows attractions at all distances.By solving the Schrödinger equation with this potential, we find one bound state whose binding energy is $18.9(5.0)(^{+12.1}_{-1.8})$ MeV, where the first error is the statistical one, while the second represents the systematic error.
