On Weakly S-primary Submodules

Let RR be a commutative ring with a non-zero identity, SS be a multiplicatively closed subset of RR and MM be a unital RR-module. In this paper, we define a submodule NN of MM with (N:RM)∩S=∅(N:_{R}M)\cap S=\emptyset to be weakly SS-primary if there exists s∈Ss\in S such that whenever a∈Ra\in R and m∈Mm\in M with 0≠am∈N0\neq am\in N, then either sa∈(N:RM)sa\in\sqrt{(N:_{R}M)} or sm∈Nsm\in N. We present various properties and characterizations of this concept (especially in finitely generated faithful multiplication modules). Moreover, the behavior of this structure under module homomorphisms, localizations, quotient modules, cartesian product and idealizations is investigated. Finally, we determine some conditions under which two kinds of submodules of the amalgamation module along an ideal are weakly SS-primary.

S-1-absorbing primary submodules

In this work, we introduce the notion of SS-1-absorbing primary submodule as an extension of 1-absorbing primary submodule. Let SS be a multiplicatively closed subset of a ring RR and MM be an RR-module. A submodule NN of MM with (N:RM)∩S=∅(N:_{R}M)\cap S=\emptyset is said to be SS-1-absorbing primary if whenever abm∈Nabm\in N for some non-unit a,b∈Ra,b\in R and m∈Mm\in M, then either sab∈(N:RM)sab\in(N:_{R}M) or sm∈Msm\in M-rad(N)rad(N). We examine several properties of this concept and provide some characterizations. In addition, SS-1-absorbing primary avoidance theorem and SS -1-absorbing primary property for idealization and amalgamation are presented.

1-absorbing primary submodules

Let RR be a commutative ring with non-zero identity and MM be a unitary RR-module. The goal of this paper is to extend the concept of 1-absorbing primary ideals to 1-absorbing primary submodules. A proper submodule NN of MM is said to be a 1-absorbing primary submodule if whenever non-unit elements a,b∈Ra,b\in R and m∈Mm\in M with abm∈Nabm\in N, then either ab∈(N:RM)ab\in(N:_{R}M) or m∈M−rad(N).m\in M-rad(N). Various properties and chacterizations of this class of submodules are considered. Moreover, 1-absorbing primary avoidance theorem is proved.

Quasi J-ideals of Commutative Rings

Let RR be a commutative ring with identity. In this paper, we introduce the concept of quasi JJ-ideal which is a generalization of JJ-ideal. A proper ideal of RR is called a quasi JJ-ideal if its radical is a JJ-ideal. Many characterizations of quasi JJ-ideals in some special rings are obtained. We characterize rings in which every proper ideal is quasi JJ-ideal. Further, as a generalization of presimplifiable rings, we define the notion of quasi presimplifiable rings. We call a ring RR a quasi presimplifiable ring if whenever a,b∈Ra,b\in R and a=aba=ab, then either aa is a nilpotent or bb is a unit. It is shown that a proper ideal II that is contained in the Jacobson radical is a quasi JJ-ideal (resp. JJ-ideal) if and only if R/IR/I is a quasi presimplifiable (resp. presimplifiable) ring.

Quasi J-submodules

Let RR be a commutative ring with identity and MM be a unitary RR-module. The aim of this paper is to extend the notion of quasi JJ-ideals of commutative rings to quasi JJ-submodules of modules. We call a proper submodule NN of MM a quasi JJ-submodule if whenever r∈Rr\in R and m∈Mm\in M such that rm∈Nrm\in N and r∉(J(R)M:M)r\notin(J(R)M:M), then m∈Mm\in M-rad(N)rad(N). We present various properties and characterizations of this concept (especially in finitely generated faithful multiplication modules). Furthermore, we provide new classes of modules generalizing presimplifiable modules and justify their relation with (quasi) JJ-submodules. Finally, for a submodule NN of MM and an ideal II of RR, we characterize the quasi JJ-ideals of the idealization ring R(+)MR(+)M.

Weakly J-ideals of Commutative Rings

Let RR be a commutative ring with non-zero identity. In this paper, we introduce the concept of weakly JJ-ideals as a new generalization of JJ-ideals. We call a proper ideal II of a ring RR a weakly JJ-ideal if whenever a,b∈Ra,b\in R with 0≠ab∈I0\neq ab\in I and a∉J(R)a\notin J(R), then a∈Ia\in I. Many of the basic properties and characterizations of this concept are studied. We investigate weakly JJ-ideals under various contexts of constructions such as direct products, localizations, homomorphic images. Moreover, a number of examples and results on weakly JJ-ideals are discussed. Finally, the third section is devoted to the characterizations of these constructions in an amagamated ring along an ideal.

On Weakly 1-absorbing Primary Ideals of Commutative Rings

Let R be a commutative ring with 1≠01\neq0. In this paper, we introduce the concept of weakly 1-absorbing primary ideal which is a generalization of 1-absorbing ideal. A proper ideal II of RR is called a weakly 1-absorbing primary ideal if whenever nonunit elements a,b,c∈Ra,b,c\in R and 0≠abc∈I,0\neq abc\in I, then ab∈Iab\in I or c∈Ic\in\sqrt{I}. A number of results concerning weakly 1-absorbing primary ideals and examples of weakly 1-absorbing primary ideals are given. Furthermore, we give the correct version of a result on 1-absorbing ideals of commutative rings.

On quasi n-absorbing elements of multiplicative lattices

In this study, we introduce the concept of quasi n-absorbing elements of multiplicative lattices. A proper element q is said to be a quasi n-absorbing element of L if whenever anb≤qa^nb\le q implies that either an≤qa^n\le q or an−1b≤qa^{n-1}b\le q. We investigate properties of this new type of elements and obtain some relations among prime, 2-absorbing, n-absorbing elements in multiplicative lattices.
