On the low-regularity global well-posedness of a system of nonlinear Schrodinger Equation

In this article, we study the low-regularity Cauchy problem of a one dimensional quadratic Schrodinger system with coupled parameter $α\in (0, 1)$. When $\frac{1}{2}<α<1$,we prove the global well-posedness in $H^s(\mathbb{R})$ with $s>-\frac{1}{4}$, while for $0<α<\frac{1}{2}$, we obtain global well-posedness in $H^s(\mathbb{R})$ with $s>-\frac{5}{8}$. We have adapted the linear-nonlinear decomposition and resonance decomposition technique in different range of $α$.

Sharp decay rate for the damped wave equation with convex-shaped damping

We revisit the damped wave equation on two-dimensional torus where the damped region does not satisfy the geometric control condition. We show that if the damping vanishes as a Hölder function $|x|^β$, and in addition, the boundary of the damped region is strictly convex, the wave is stable at rate $t^{-1+\frac{2}{2β+7}}$, which is better than the known optimal decay rate $t^{-1+\frac{1}{β+3}}$ for strip-shaped dampings of the same Hölder regularity. Moreover, we show by example that the decay rate is optimal. This illustrates the fact that the energy decay rate depends not only on the order of vanishing of the damping, but also on the shape of the damped region. The main ingredient of the proof is the averaging method (normal form reduction) developed by Hitrick and Sjöstrand (\cite{Hi1}\cite{Sj}).

Internal controllability of non-localized solution for the Kodomtsev-Petviashvili II equation

The internal control problem for the Kadomstev-Petviashvili II equation, known as KP-II, is the object of study in this paper. The controllability in $L^2(T)$ from vertical strip is proved using the Hilbert Unique Method through the techniques of semiclassical and microlocal analysis. Additionally, a negative result for the controllability in $L^2(T)$ from horizontal strip is also showed.

Probabilistic well-posedness for supercritical wave equation on $\mathbb{T}^3$

In this article, we follow the strategies, listed in \cite{Burq2011} and \cite{OhPo}, in dealing with supercritical cubic and quintic wave equations, we obtain that, the equation \begin{equation*} \left\{ \begin{split} &(\partial^2_t-Δ)u+|u|^{p-1}u=0,\ \ 3<p<5 &\big(u,\partial_tu\big)|_{t=0}=(u_0,u_1)\in H^{s}\times H^{s-1}=:\mathcal{H}^s, \end{split} \right. \end{equation*} is almost surely global well-posed in the sense of Burq and Tzvetkov\cite{Burq2011} for any $s\in (\frac{p-3}{p-1},1)$. The key point here is that $\frac{p-3}{p-1}$ is much smaller than the critical index $\frac{3}{2}-\frac{2}{p-1}$ for $3<p<5$.
