Geometric realizations of Tamari interval lattices via cubic coordinates

We introduce cubic coordinates, which are integer words encoding intervals in the Tamari lattices. Cubic coordinates are in bijection with interval-posets, themselves known to be in bijection with Tamari intervals. We show that in each degree the set of cubic coordinates forms a lattice, isomorphic to the lattice of Tamari intervals. Geometric realizations are naturally obtained by placing cubic coordinates in space, highlighting some of their properties. We consider the cellular structure of these realizations. Finally, we show that the poset of cubic coordinates is shellable.

Three Fuss-Catalan posets in interaction and their associative algebras

We introduce δδ-cliffs, a generalization of permutations and increasing trees depending on a range map δδ. We define a first lattice structure on these objects and we establish general results about its subposets. Among them, we describe sufficient conditions to have EL-shellable posets, lattices with algorithms to compute the meet and the join of two elements, and lattices constructible by interval doubling. Some of these subposets admit natural geometric realizations. Then, we introduce three families of subposets which, for some maps δδ, have underlying sets enumerated by the Fuss-Catalan numbers. Among these, one is a generalization of Stanley lattices and another one is a generalization of Tamari lattices. These three families of posets fit into a chain for the order extension relation and they share some properties. Finally, in the same way as the product of the Malvenuto-Reutenauer algebra forms intervals of the right weak Bruhat order of permutations, we construct algebras whose products form intervals of the lattices of δδ-cliff. We provide necessary and sufficient conditions on δδ to have associative, finitely presented, or free algebras. We end this work by using the previous Fuss-Catalan posets to define quotients of our algebras of δδ-cliffs. In particular, one is a generalization of the Loday-Ronco algebra.

A geometric and combinatorial exploration of Hochschild lattices

Hochschild lattices are specific intervals in the dexter meet-semilattices recently introduced by Chapoton. A natural geometric realization of these lattices leads to some cell complexes introduced by Saneblidze, called the Hochschild polytopes. We obtain several geometrical properties of the Hochschild lattices, namely we give cubic realizations, establish that these lattices are EL-shellable, and show that they are constructible by interval doubling. We also prove several combinatorial properties as the enumeration of their kk-chains and compute their degree polynomials.
