We show that singularities form after the interaction of three transversal semilinear conormal waves. Our results hold for space dimensions two and higher, and for arbitrary smooth nonlinearity. The case of two space dimensions in which the nonlinearity is a polynomial was studied by the author and Yiran Wang.
We construct a semiclassical parametrix for the resolvent of the Laplacian acing on functions on non-trapping conformally compact manifolds with variable sectional curvature at infinity, we use it to prove high energy resolvent estimates and to show existence of resonance free strips of arbitrary height away from the imaginary axis. We then use the results of Datchev and Vasy on gluing semiclassical resolvent estimates to extend these results to conformally compact manifolds with normal hyperbolic trapping.
We study the scattering relation and the sojourn times on non-trapping asymptotically hyperbolic manifolds and use it to obtain the asymptotics of the distance function on geodesically convex asymptotically hyperbolic manifolds.
We prove a local support theorem for the radiation fields on asymptotically Euclidean manifolds that partly generalizes the local support theorem for the Radon transform.
We prove that the scattering matrix at all energies restricted to an open subset of the boundary determines an asymptotically hyperbolic manifold modulo isometries that are equal to the identity on the open subset where the scattering matrix is known.
