We obtain asymptotic results for well known summatory arithmetic functions, such as $ψ(x),$ and establish connections to new summatory functions. A new Volterra integral equation is offered, which is solved by summatory arithmetic functions. We conclude with some further integral formulas and provide number theoretic formulas as applications.
The $2$-fold Bailey lemma is a special case of the $s$-fold Bailey lemma introduced by Andrews in 2000. We examine this special case and its applications to partitions and recently discovered $q$-series identities. Our work provides a general comparison of the utility of the $2$-fold Bailey lemma and the more widely applied $1$-fold Bailey lemma. We also offer a discussion of the $spt_M(n)$ function and related identities.
We offer some new applications of an extension of Abel's lemma, as well as its more general form established by Andrews and Freitas. A nice connection is established between this lemma and series involving the Riemann zeta function.
We explore Fourier transforms of the reciprocal of the Riemann zeta function that have connections to the RH. A partial answer to a recently posed problem is explored by exploiting the fact that $ζ(s)\neq0$ when $\Re(s)=1.$
We offer a generalization of a formula of Popov involving the Von Mangoldt function. Some commentary on its relation to other results in analytic number theory is mentioned as well as an analogue involving the m$\ddot{o}$bius function.
We offer a solution to a functional equation using properties of the Mellin transform. A new criteria for the Riemann Hypothesis is offered as an application of our main result, through a functional relationship with the Riemann xi function.
