Spectroscopic study of $D-$ meson in Regge phenomenology

In last few years the experimental evidence of charmed mesons is increasing remarkably. In the present work we systematically studied the $D$ meson by employing Regge phenomenology. By assuming the existence of the quasilinear Regge trajectories, several relations between Regge slope, intercept, and meson masses have been extracted. With the aid of these derived relations, Regge parameters are evaluated in both the ($J,M^{2}$) and ($n,M^{2}$) planes to obtain the mass spectra of $D$ meson. In the forthcoming years, we believe that more candidates will be reported and our predictions could provide useful information for future experimental evidences.

Mass spectra of $Ξ_{cc}$, $Ξ_{bc}$, $Ω_{cc}$, and $Ω_{bc}$ baryons in Regge Phenomenology

In this article, we study the mass spectra of baryons containing two heavy quarks; charm-charm ($cc$) and bottom-charm ($bc$) with a light quark ($u,d,s$) within the framework of Regge phenomenology. With the assumption of linear Regge trajectories we have derived the relations between slope ratios, intercepts, and baryon masses. Using these relations, the ground state masses of $Ξ_{cc}$, $Ξ_{bc}$, $Ω_{cc}$, and $Ω_{bc}$ baryons are obtained. The values of Regge slopes and Regge intercepts are extracted for these baryons to estimate the excited state masses in both the ($J,M^{2}$) and ($n,M^{2}$) planes. Our obtained results are compared with the experimental observations where available and other theoretical predictions, which could be a valuable addition to the interpretations of experimentally unknown heavy baryon spectra.

Study of B, Bs mesons using heavy quark effective theory

Inspired by the lower statistical information in the bottom {\bf sector, in this paper, we} calculate the masses and the strong decays of excited $B$ and $B_s$ mesons in the framework of heavy quark effective theory (HQET). Using an effective chiral Lagrangian approach based on heavy quark spin-flavor and light quark chiral symmetry, we explore the flavor independent parameters $Δ_F^{(c)} = Δ_F^{(b)}$ and $λ_F^{(c)} = λ_F^{(b)}$ to calculate the masses of experimentally unknown bottom mesons. Our predictions are consistent with the available experimental results and other theoretical studies. Their strong decay to the ground state bottom mesons plus light pseudoscalar mesons is calculated in terms of the square of the couplings $g_H$, $g_S$, $g_T$, $g_X$, $g_Y$, and $g_R$. The weighted average value of the couplings $g_H$, $g_S$ and $g_T$ {\bf is} obtained in the charm sector [Phys. Rev. D \textbf{86}, 054024 (2012)] by fitting the calculated decay widths with experimental measurements, which will be used in the present study to analyze the strong decays of excited open bottom mesons. Moreover, the ratio of the decay rates is also predicted, which can be countered with future experimental data.

Mass-spectra of singly, doubly, and triply bottom baryons

The present work has been done on the baryons containing one, two, or three bottom quarks. In this article, the ground-state masses of $Ω_{b}^{-}$, $Ξ_{bb}^{0}$, $Ξ_{bb}^{-}$, $Ω_{bb}^{-}$, and $Ω_{bbb}^{*-}$ baryons are calculated within the framework of Regge phenomenology. Further, the values of Regge slopes and Regge intercepts for singly, doubly, and triply bottom baryons are estimated in both the ($J,M^{2}$) and ($n,M^{2}$) planes to calculate the excited-state masses of these baryons. Here our attempt is to assign a possible spin-parity to recently observed some singly bottom baryons and our results could provide useful information for future experimental searches. Our calculated masses are in agreement with the experimental observations where available and close to other theoretical predictions.

Spectra and decay properties of $Λ_b$ and $Σ_b$ baryons

In this article, we study the radial states as well as orbital states mass spectra of the nonstrange baryons from bottom family utilizing hypercentral Constituent Quark Model(hCQM), a non-relativistic approach by employing screened potential as confining potential with color Coulomb potential. The spin-spin, spin-orbital and tensor interaction are considered for hyperfine splitting calculation. The mass spectra calculated and compared with other theoretical approaches. The Regge trajectories has been plotted in $(J, M^2)$ plane using the calculated mass spectra. Further, the single-pion decay and radiative decay have been described and magnetic moments are determined for the ground state.

Bottomonium spectroscopy motivated by general features of pNRQCD

The bottomonium mass spectra is computed in the framework of potential non-relativistic quantum chromodynamics. The potential consists of a static term incorporating Coulombic plus confinement part along with a correction term added non-perturbatively from pNRQCD, which is classified in powers of the inverse of heavy quark mass \textit{O}$(1/m)$. The masses of excited bottomonia are calculated by perturbatively adding spin-hyperfine, spin-orbit and tensor components of one gluon exchange interactions in powers of \textit{O}$(1/m^2)$. Calculated masses are found to be consistent with other theoretical studies and experimental data. The Regge trajectories of the calculated mass spectra are also constructed. The values of the wave-functions are extracted and employed to calculate the electromagnetic transition widths and $γγ$, $e^+e^-$, light hadron and $γγγ$ decay widths of several states at various leading orders, within the non-relativistic QCD formalism. Some of the experimentally reported states of bottomonium family like $Υ$(10860), $Υ$(11020) and X(10610) are identified as mixed $S-D$ wave and $P$-wave states.

Spectroscopic properties of $Δ$ Baryons

The resonance state of $Δ$ baryon existing in four isospin ($I=\frac{3}{2}$) states, has been studied using Hypercentral Constituent Quark Model (hCQM) with a simple linear potential with added first order correction. The calculated data range for 1S-5S, 1P-5P, 1D-4D and 1F-2F with possible spin-parity assignments of all the states. The magnetic moments have also been obtained for all four configuration. The $Nπ$ decay channel width has been calculated for few states. The linear nature of the data has been verified through Regge trajectories.

Spectrum of nonstrange singly charmed baryons in the constituent quark model

We study the masses of radial and orbital excited states of nonstrange singly charmed baryons in the framework of hypercentral Constituent Quark Model (hCQM). To obtain the mass spectra, the Coulomb plus screened potential is employed with the first order correction, which gives a relativistic effect of order $\cal{O}$$(1/m)$. The spin-spin, spin-orbit and tensor interactions are included (perturbatively as a spin dependent potential) in order to generate the splitting in mass spectra. We compare our computed mass spectra of nonstrange singly charmed baryons with the other theoretical predictions as well as with the experimental observations. We construct the Regge trajectories of these baryons in the $(J, M^2)$ plane. Further, we analyze the strong one pion decay rates for $S$, $P$ and the $D$-wave transitions in the framework of Heavy Hadron Chiral Perturbation Theory (HHChPT). Moreover, the electromagnetic properties like magnetic moments, transition magnetic moments and the radiative decay widths are determined for the ground state of these baryons in the constituent quark model.

Spectrum of strange singly charmed baryons in the constituent quark model

Excited states masses of the strange singly charmed baryons are calculated using the non-relativistic approach of hypercentral Constituent Quark Model (hCQM). The hyper-Coulomb plus screened potential is used as a confinement potential with the first order correction. The spin-spin, spin-orbit and spin-tensor interaction terms are included perturbatively. Our calculated masses are allowed to construct the Regge trajectories in both $(n_r, M^2)$ and $(J, M^2)$ planes. The mass spectra and the Regge trajectories study predict the spin-parity of $Ξ{_c(2970)^{+/0}}$, $Ξ{_c(3080)^{+/0}}$, $Ξ{_c(3123)^+}$, $Ω{_c}(3000)^0$ and $Ω{_c}(3119)^0$ baryons. Moreover, the strong one pion decay rates of the isodoublet states of $Ξ{_c(2645)}$, $Ξ{_c(2790)}$ and $Ξ{_c(2815)}$ are analyzed in the framework of Heavy Hadron Chiral Perturbation Theory (HHChPT). Also, the ground state magnetic moments and the radiative decay rates based on the transition magnetic moments are calculated in the framework of constituent quark model.

Interaction and Identification of the Meson-Baryon molecules

The challenges with the molecular model of the multiquark systems are the identification of the hadronic molecules and the interaction between two color neutral hadrons. We study the di-hadronic molecular systems with proposed interaction potential as s-wave one boson exchange potential along with Screen Yukawa-like potential, and arrived with the proposal that within hadronic molecule the two color neutral hadrons experience the dipole-like interaction. The present study is the continuation of our previous study \cite{arxiv-Rathaud-penta}. With the proposed interaction potential, the mass spectra of $Σ_{s}K^{*}$, $Σ_{c}K^{*}$, $Σ_{b}K^{*}$, $Σ_{s}D^{*}$, $Σ_{c}D^{*}$, $Σ_{b}D^{*}$, $Σ_{s}B^{*}$, $Σ_{c}B^{*}$, $Σ_{b}B^{*}$, $Ξ_{s}K^{*}$, $Ξ_{c}K^{*}$, $Ξ_{b}K^{*}$, $Ξ_{s}D^{*}$, $Ξ_{c}D^{*}$, $Ξ_{b}D^{*}$, $Ξ_{s}B^{*}$, $Ξ_{c}B^{*}$, $Ξ_{b}B^{*}$ meson-baryon molecules are predicted. The Weinberg compositeness theorem which provides clue for the compositeness of the state is used for determination of the scattering length and effective range. The present study predict $P_{c}(4450)$ pentaquark sate as $Σ_{c}D^{*}$ molecule with $I(J^{P})=\frac{1}{2}(\frac{3}{2}^{-})$. The formalism also predicts some very interesting open as well as hidden flavour near threshold molecular pentaquark states.

Excited State Mass spectra of doubly heavy baryons $Ω_{cc}$, $Ω_{bb}$ and $Ω_{bc}$

We discuss the mass spectrum of $Ω$ baryon with two heavy quarks and one light quark (\textit{ccs, bbs and bcs}). The main goal of the paper is to calculate the ground state masses and after that, the positive and negative parity excited states masses are also obtained within a Hypercentral Constituent quark model, using coulomb plus linear potential framework. We also added first order correction to the potential. The mass spectra upto 5S for radial excited states and 1P-5P, 1D-4D and 1F-2F states for orbital excited states are computed for $Ω_{cc}$, $Ω_{bb}$ and $Ω_{bc}$ baryons. Our obtained results are compared with other theoretical predictions which could be a useful complementary tool for the interpretation of experimentaly unknown heavy baryon spectra. The Regge trajectory is constructed in both ($n_r$, $M^{2}$) and ($J$, $M^{2}$) planes for $Ω_{cc}$,$Ω_{bb}$ and $Ω_{bc}$ baryons and their slopes and intercepts are also determined. Magnetic moments of doubly heavy $Ω'$s are also calculated.

Excited State Mass spectra of Singly Charmed Baryons

Mass spectra of excited states of the singly charmed baryons are calculated using the hypercentral description of three body system. The baryon consist of a charm quark and light quarks (u, d and s) are studied in the framework of QCD motivated constituent quark model. The form of confinement potential is hyper coloumb plus power potential with potential index $ν$, varying from 0.5 to 2.0. The first order correction to the confinement potential is also incorporated in this approach. The radial as well as orbital excited state masses of $Σ_{c}^{++}, Σ_{c}^+, Σ_{c}^0, Ξ_c^+, Ξ_c^0, Λ_c^+, Ω_c^0$ baryons, are reported in this paper. We have incorporated spin-spin, spin-orbit and tensor interactions perturbatively in the present study. The semi-electronic decay of $Ω_c$ and $Ξ_c$ are also calculated using the spectroscopic parameters of these baryons. The computed results are compared with other theoretical predictions as well as with the available experimental observations. We also construct the Regge trajectory in ($n_r$, $M^{2}$) and (J, $M^{2}$) plane for these baryons.

The mass spectra and decay properties of dimesonic states, using the Hellmann potential

Mass spectra of the dimesonic (meson-antimeson) molecular states are computed using the Hellmann potential in variational approach, which consists of relativistic correction to kinetic energy term as well as to the potential energy term. For the study of molecular bound state system, the Hellmann potential of the form $V(r)=-\frac{α_{s}}{r} + \frac{B e^{-Cr}}{r}$ is being used. The one pion exchange potential (OPEP) is also incorporated in the mass calculation. The digamma decay width and decay width of the dimesonic system are evaluated using the wave function. The experimental states such as $f_{0}(980)$, $b_{1}(1235)$, $h_{1}(1380)$, $a_{0}(1450)$, $f_{0}(1500)$, $f_{2}'(1525)$,$f_{2}(1565)$, $h_{1}(1595)$, $a_{2}(1700)$, $f_{0}(1710)$, $f_{2}(1810)$ are compared with dimesonic states. Many of these states (masses and their decay properties) are close to our theoretical predictions.

Low-lying di-hadronic states in relativistic harmonic model

Di-hadronic molecules such as di-meson, meson-baryon and di-baryon states are studied in the relativistic confinement model. We have computed the binding energy of the di-hadronic systems like $K-N$, $Π-N$, $ρ-N$ etc., as penta-quark states, 2$π$, $ρ-ρ$, $K-K^*$, $K^*-K^*$, $D-D^*$ etc. as tetra-quark states and $N-N$, $N-Δ$, $Δ-Δ$ etc. as di-baryonic states using a molecular interaction provided by asymptotic expression of the confined gluon exchange potential. We find the lowest penta-quark state lies in the energy range of 1.180 - 2.247 GeV as predicted by other theoretical models. The exotic states such as $f0 (0.982)$, $h1 (1.170)$, $f0 (1.70)$, $f2 (1.565)$, $f2 (1.95)$, $ψ(4.040)$ etc. are identified as the di-mesonic hadron molecules. The low-lying di-baryon molecular states found to be in the range of 1.990-2.907 GeV with their binding energies lying between 112-120 MeV.

Properties of $B_c$ meson

The mass spectrum of $c \bar b$ meson is investigated with an effective quark-antiquark potential of the form $\frac{-α_c}{r}$ + $A r^ν$ with $ν$ varying from 0.5 to 2.0. The S and P-wave masses, pseudoscalar decay constant, weak decay partial widths in spectator model and the lifetime of $B_c$ meson are computed. The properties calculated here are found to be in good agreement with other theoretical and experimental values at potential index, $ν=1$.
