Measurement of T-odd asymmetry in radiative K+ -> pi0 e+ nu gamma decay using OKA detector

The paper presents a measurement of the T-odd correlation in radiation decay \boldmath K+→π0e+νeγK^+ \rightarrow π^{0} e^{+} ν_{e} γ performed on the installation of the 101200 candidate events of the investigated decay were identified. Measured correlation ξπeγξ_{πe γ} -is a mixed product of moments e+e^{+}, π0π^{0}, γγ in the kaon rest system, normalized by MK3M^{3}_{K}. To assess the asymmetry of the distribution by ξπeγξ_{πe γ} the value used is Aξ=N+−N−N++N−A_ξ= \frac {N_{+}-N_{-}} {N_{+}+N_{-}}, where N+(−)N_{+(-)} is the number of events with ξξ greater than (less than) zero. For the AξA_ξ asymmetry, the value is obtained Aξ=(+0.1±3.9(A_ξ = (+0.1 \pm 3.9(stat.)±1.7() \pm1.7(syst.))×10−3))\times10^{-3} or ∣Aξ∣<5.4×10−3(90% CL)|A_ξ| < 5.4\times10^{-3} (90\%~ CL)

Collins and Sivers asymmetries for pions and kaons in muon-deuteron DIS

The measurements of the Collins and Sivers asymmetries of identified hadrons produced in deep-inelastic scattering of 160 GeV/c muons on a transversely polarised 6LiD target at COMPASS are presented. The results for charged pions and charged and neutral kaons correspond to all data available, which were collected from 2002 to 2004. For all final state particles both the Collins and Sivers asymmetries turn out to be small, compatible with zero within the statistical errors, in line with the previously published results for not identified charged hadrons, and with the expected cancellation between the u- and d-quark contributions.

Production Asymmetry Measurement of High Xt Hadrons in pp Collisions at 40 GeV

Single-spin asymmetries for hadrons have been measured in collisions of transversely-polarized 40 GeV/c proton beam with an unpolarized liquid hydrogen target. The asymmetries were measured for pi+-, K+-, protons and antiprotons, produced in the central region (0.02 < Xf < 0.10 and 0.7 < Pt < 3.4 GeV/c). Asymmetries for pi+-, K+- and antiprotons show within measurement errors the linear dependence on Xt and change a sign near 0.37. For protons negative asymmetry, independent of Xt has been found. The results are compared with those of other experiments and SU(6) model predictions.
