The cosmological constant vs adiabatic invariance

The property of adiabatic invariance is studied for the generalized potential satisfying the condition of identity of sphere's and point mass's gravity. That function contains a second term corresponding to the cosmological constant as weak-field General Relativity and enables to describe the dynamics of groups and clusters of galaxies and the Hubble tension as a result of two flows, local and global ones. Using the adiabatic invariance approach we derive the orbital parameters via Weierstrass functions, including the formula for the eccentricity which explicitly reveals the differences from the Kepler problem.

On the Lambda-evolution of galaxy clusters

The evolution of galaxy clusters can be affected by the repulsion described by the cosmological constant. This conclusion is reached within the modified weak-field General Relativity approach where the cosmological constant Λenables to describe the common nature of the dark matter and the dark energy. Geometrical methods of theory of dynamical systems and the Ricci curvature criterion are used to reveal the difference in the instability properties of galaxy clusters which determine their evolutionary paths. Namely, it is shown that the clusters determined by the gravity with Λ-repulsion tend to become even more unstable than those powered only by Newtonian gravity, the effect to be felt at cosmological time scales.

Evolution of perturbed dynamical systems: analytical computation with time independent accuracy

An analytical method for investigation of the evolution of dynamical systems {\it with independent on time accuracy} is developed for perturbed Hamiltonian systems. The error-free estimation using of computer algebra enables the application of the method to complex multi-dimensional Hamiltonian and dissipative systems. It also opens principal opportunities for the qualitative study of chaotic trajectories. The performance of the method is demonstrated on perturbed two-oscillator systems. It can be applied to various non-linear physical and astrophysical systems, e.g. to the long-term planetary dynamics.

On the "The Kolmogorov-Smirnov test for the CMB" by M.Frommert, R.Durrer and J.Michaud

In arxiv:1108.5354 the Kolmogorov-Smirnov (K-S) test and Kolmogorov stochasticity parameter (KSP) is applied to CMB data. Their interpretation of the KSP method, however, lacks essential elements. In addition, their main result on the Gaussianity of CMB was not a matter of debate in previous KSP-CMB studies which also included predictions on cold spots, point sources.

On the Comment on "CCC-predicted low-variance circles in CMB sky and LCDM", by H.K. Eriksen and I.K. Wehus

In arXiv:1105.1081, Eriksen and Wehus try to criticise the use of Kolmogorov's stochasticity parameter (KSP) for CMB data analysis. Their discussion is based on a serious misunderstanding of the randomness and Arnold's work. Their note includes numerous further inaccuracies and groundless statements. However, this short note is concerned with KSP method only.

A weakly random Universe?

The cosmic microwave background (CMB) radiation is characterized by well-established scales, the 2.7 K temperature of the Planckian spectrum and the $10^{-5}$ amplitude of the temperature anisotropy. These features were instrumental in indicating the hot and equilibrium phases of the early history of the Universe and its large scale isotropy, respectively. We now reveal one more intrinsic scale in CMB properties. We introduce a method developed originally by Kolmogorov, that quantifies a degree of randomness (chaos) in a set of numbers, such as measurements of the CMB temperature in some region. Considering CMB as a composition of random and regular signals, we solve the inverse problem of recovering of their mutual fractions from the temperature sky maps. Deriving the empirical Kolmogorov's function in the Wilkinson Microwave Anisotropy Probe's maps, we obtain the fraction of the random signal to be about 20 per cent, i.e. the cosmological sky is a weakly random one. The paper is dedicated to the memory of Vladimir Arnold (1937-2010).

Kolmogorov analysis detecting radio and Fermi gamma-ray sources in cosmic microwave background maps

The Kolmogorov stochasticity parameter is shown to act as a tool to detect point sources in the cosmic microwave background (CMB) radiation temperature maps. Kolmogorov CMB map constructed for the WMAP's 7-year datasets reveals tiny structures which in part coincide with point radio and Fermi/LAT gamma-ray sources. In the first application of this method, we identified several sources not present in the then available 0FGL Fermi catalog. Subsequently they were confirmed in the more recent and more complete 1FGL catalog, thus strengthening the evidence for the power of this methodology.

Collective relaxation of stellar systems revisited

The chaos in stellar systems is studied using the theory of dynamical systems and the Van Kampen stochastic differential equation approach. The exponential instability (chaos) of spherical N-body gravitating systems, already known previously, is confirmed. The characteristic timescale of that instability is estimated confirming the collective relaxation time obtained by means of the Maupertuis principle.

The power spectrum of the cosmic microwave background Kolmogorov maps: possible clue to correlation of voids

The power spectrum is obtained for the Kolmogorov stochasticity parameter map for WMAP's cosmic microwave background (CMB) radiation temperature datasets. The interest for CMB Kolmogorov map is that it can carry direct information about voids in the matter distribution, so that the correlations in the distribution of voids have to be reflected in the power spectrum. Although limited by the angular resolution of the WMAP, this analysis shows the possibility of acquiring this crucial information via CMB maps. Even the already obtained behavior, some of which is absent in the simulated maps, can influence the development of views on the void correlations at the large-scale web formation.
